After I’ve got my PS3 a few days, I’ve downloaded so many demos here to play and found that Warhawk is one of the coolest title for FPS style. So, I willing to buy a full version online through Playstation Store.
I’ve added Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Bionic Commando into my shortlist as well.
But…
When I try to add my credit card to purchase them, it seems Playstation Store rejects my card even I normally use it for my online life.
After I’ve researched, I found that the root cause come from the region of Playstation Network ID that I’ve registered for.
My Playstation Network ID was registered on U.S. zone but my card was issued on Thailand.
So, Playstation Store reject my card, or I can say, they will reject any cards outside of U.S. as well. 
Too bad, I want to pay for games but they didn’t sell it. 
Funny marketing!?
However, I just found out a way to bypass this problem now. I can do it without using Playstation Network Card as well. (I never seen PSN Card selling in Thailand)
I’ll write here how to do it with visual guide step-by-step.

Any chance you will actually get round to the step by step guide? I’m trying to add credit to my PS3 but it seems Sony isn’t aware that there is a country called Thailand.
im in thailand and i am experiencing the same problem. for the pass 6 months ive been trying to somehow add my credit card; whether through the psn directly, changing my credit card address, changing my profile address, calling the credit card company. ive even gone onto ebay to try and purchase a psn card but all effort was futile. so if you did actually find a way around the system can you pretty please with sugar on top share your step-by-step guide. i really need it now more than ever too because i just bought dead space 2 and am playing on zealot difficulty and it is insanely tough so i was planning on going online to download some new weapons and suits. by the way if you havent already gotten dead space 2, GET IT!

Man, i live in Thailand and its driving me crazy. Really want the skyrim extentions and i just cant find a way. Just been trying to find network cards that work in Thailand but cannot find.
